Switch Mobility in talks to supply electric buses to Jakarta

Indonesia / UK – UK electric bus maker, Switch Mobility Ltd of Sherburn in Elmet, UK (a subsidiary of India’s Ashok Leyland) in May signed a collaboration agreement with TransJakarta, the operator of the public transport network serving the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
Switch Mobility says it has agreed in principle to help TransJakarta switch its bus fleet to zero-emission vehicles, although a final agreement with objective has yet to be reached by the two companies.
