FNM 833 Electric truck in Ambev fleet

Brazil – The first FNM Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidade (FNM) electric trucks are expected to roll off the Agrale SA production line late this year.

FNM, which is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro but with its operations in Caxias do Sul is expected to have commercially available electric trucks on the road by the year end. As reported previously, the new vehicles are to be assembled at one of the factories belonging to Agrale SA in Caxias do Sul, under the same process previously used to assemble International trucks in the early 2000s, and more recently by Foton to assemble LCVs, up until last year. Start of operation is scheduled for later this year, at the end of the second half.
