Volkswagen sold more than 5,000 Meteor trucks in less than 2 years

Brazil / Argentina – Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Resende Ltda (VWCO) of Rio de Janeiro, says sales of Meteor, its extra heavy-duty flagship truck / tractor unit launched in September 2020, has passed the 5,000 volume mark in less than two years.
VWCO says the state of São Paulo, with almost one thousand units in operation, corresponds to approximately 20% of new extra heavy-duty sales, and leads sales in the country, followed by Minas Gerais with approximately 600 vehicles.
