Van Hool launches new A Series zero emission city buses with orders already totalling 162 buses

BelgiumVan Hool NV of Koningshooikt, used Euro Mobility Expo in Paris, France in June (7-9) to introduce the first edition of a completely new range of 100% zero emission buses onto the European and world markets.

The Van Hool A12 Battery Electric is the first vehicle in a completely new range of buses, announced Dirk Snauwaert, Public Relations Manager, Van Hool at the show, and that the models would be available in four different lengths of 12m, 13m, 18m and 24m, equipped with a choice of zero emission powertrains of battery-electric, fuel cell (hydrogen) and trolley. Van Hool work with established partners in the electromobility components space with companies like Akazol and CATL for batteries, Ballard for fuel cells, ZF axles for wheel hub motor driven axles and Kiepe for the trolleybus and pantograph equipment.
