FAW Jiefang delivers 300 fuel cell heavy trucks

China - FAW Jiefang Group Co Ltd of Jilin, China, from its production base in Changchun in Jilin province, has delivered 300 heavy-duty trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells to a customer for operation in Shanghai, Beijing and Shaanxi.

FAW says it is one of the largest orders of hydrogen powered trucks in the country to date and includes rigid cargo trucks, tippers and tractor units for a variety of applications including logistics, construction and short-distance transportation.
