Eberspächer building new factory in Bulgaria

Bulgaria / Germany – Eberspächer Group, a manufacturer of exhaust and thermal management products based in Esslingen am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, announced in June that it is building a new production plant in Ruse, Bulgaria, near the Romanian border.
The new facility will be situated on an 80,000m2 site in Industrial Zone Slatina, in the east of the Bulgarian city. Upon completion, the factory will make low- and high-voltage heaters for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold in Europe. Early-phase production is set to begin as early as January 2023, progressing to full-scale production by the end of 2023 with the completion of the site. 150 employees will be hired to kickstart production, growing to 500 over the following years.
