PMI Electro Mobility Solutions wins turnkey tender to supply and operate 100 electric buses in Rajkot

India - PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd (PMI Electro) of Haryana, a manufacturer of electric vehicles - which has a technical tie up with Chinese company, Beiqi Foton Motors Co Ltd of Beijing, China to assemble and sell electric vehicles in India - has received a contract from Rajkot Municipal Corporation in Gujarat, India to supply, maintain and operate 100 nine-metre electric buses for 10 years. This is an extension to the lowest bid for 50 units won in a tender in February 2022.
August 2022 saw PMI deliver the first order of 50 PMI Foton 9-metre midi-buses, with the other 100 units being added to Rajkot’s municipal fleet in the months to come.
