Aidrivers testing autonomous port operations in Zayed Port, UAE

UK / United Arab Emirates – Aidrivers Ltd of London, UK has announced that it recently began a proof-of-concept exercise with autonomous terminal trucks in Zayed Port, a commercial deep-water port owned by the AD Ports Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The two companies will trial terminal tractors or yard trucks fitted with Aidrivers’ autonomous driving technology at Zayed Port, with scope to expand to other locations. They will also make use of other products in Aidrivers’ portfolio, including its ‘V2X’ or vehicle communication system (‘AIFO’) and its simulation or ‘digital twinning’ software (‘AISE’).
