India / China - PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd (PMI Electro) of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (North India) - which has a technical tie up with Chinese company, Beiqi Foton Motors Co Ltd of Beijing, to assemble and sell electric vehicles in India - has announced it is investing in the construction of a purpose-built facility to manufacture electric commercial vehicles (CVs) on a 35-acre facility in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) site in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra state (West India).
