Iveco Bus announces plans to launch the E-Way in chassis form in Brazil in 2023

Brazil - Iveco América do Sul Ltda of Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais used the Latin American fair of Lat.Bus 2022, held in Sao Paulo to present the E-Way, the bus division’s integral 100% electric bus. However, Iveco Bus plans to offer only the electric chassis for bodying by local body builders in Brazil and other South American markets with the launch taking place sometime next year in 2023.
Roberto Pavan, marketing manager at Iveco Bus Latin America, said: “Although we have the technology to produce both the chassis and the body, as is already the case in Europe, in the case of the Brazilian market we will only offer the base platform.”
