Iveco Bus debuts front-engine gas bus chassis at Lat.Bus 2022 in Brazil

Iveco Bus front engine chassis 17.210 G for Latin America

Brazil / Argentina - Iveco América do Sul Ltda of Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil used the Latin American exhibition, Lat.Bus 2022 in Sao Paulo City to present its CNG bus chassis front engine model 17-210 G. Powered by natural gas or biomethane, the front-engine chassis is fitted with an FPT N60* gas engine offering an output of 204hp and 750Nm of torque. It has a set of six gas cylinders (80 litres in each) mounted on the chassis sides, which can provide a range of up to 250 kilometres. As with the traditional diesel version, the Iveco Bus 17-210 G is also with front and rear suspensions with semi-elliptic springs and air brakes on both axles.

The chassis is intended for bodies of up to 12 metres in length and is designed for operations in the urban and charter segments.
