Dennis Eagle supply custom-made crane vehicle for underground waste collection

Custom-made crane vehicle made by Dennis Eagle

UK Dennis Eagle Ltd, a subsidiary of the Terberg Group based in Warwick, UK, has supplied a custom-made crane vehicle to Spelthorne Direct Services Ltd in Surrey for emptying underground bins – reportedly the first of its kind to be made in the UK.

The 26-tonne 6x2 Elite truck has been fitted with a Palfinger crane and a Terberg OmniMAX electric bin lift system for emptying conventional Euro bins. The crane-mounted body has been designed specifically for lifting and emptying bins stored underground – touted as a solution to urban fly-tipping that takes rubbish collection out-of-sight and therefore decreases the likelihood of offenders dumping waste next to bins.
