ProLogium to establish its first overseas solid-state battery facility

Taiwan – ProLogium Technology Co Ltd, a battery manufacturer based in Taoyuan, Taiwan, has announced its intention to establish a Gigafactory overseas, targeting an annual capacity of 120 GWh upon completion.
The projected battery plant, which represents a USD8bn investment commitment over the next decade, is expected to become one of the largest in the world once its three-phase construction finishes. The Taiwanese specialist in solid-state battery technology will target the burgeoning electric vehicle market – though no particular segments have been specified by the company.
