Randon and Gerdau companies announce a JV to offer CV rental services

Brazil – Trailer builder, Empresas Randon S.A.1 (Randon Companies) of Caxias do Sul, and Brazil’s largest steel producer, Gerdau S.A.2 of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil announced September 1, 2022, a partnership creating a 50:50 joint venture for leasing commercial vehicles.
The new business venture has an initial investment of BRA250 million (USD48m). The new company, which will be headquartered in São Paulo, is now undergoing an approval process by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
