Fusion Processing and Bradshaw Electric Vehicles develop autonomous tow tractors

Fusion Processing to automate Bradshaw's warehouse tow trucks

UK - After winning a bid for an Innovate UK Funding award, Fusion Processing Ltd of Bristol (the company working with ADL on city bus autonomy), and Bradshaw Electric Vehicles of Peterborough, have announced a partnership to develop fully autonomous (unmanned) tow tractors designed for use in warehouses, factories and in airport logistics to haul baggage trailers.

Fusion Processing design and build advanced systems for vehicle automation whilst Bradshaw Electric Vehicles have been developing electric vehicles since 1976. Fusion Processing’s CAVstar control and sensing system will be used to make Bradshaw’s third generation electric T700 and T800 Tow Tractors, fully autonomous.
