Daimler opens its second dedicated training centre in Cuttack, India

DICV training centre in Cuttack
India – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV) of Oragadam, near Chennai, a subsidiary of Germany’s Daimler Truck AG, has inaugurated a BharatBenz Regional Training Centre (RTC) in Cuttack, Odisha, its second centre after the first in Chennai, which it launched four years ago. DICV states it plans to open two more in the Northern and Western region of the country by December 2022.
The new RTC is a partnership between BharatBenz, the Odisha State’s Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTET) and PPS Motors Pvt. Ltd (the dealer of DICV – Bharatbenz), and it is situated within the premises of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Cuttack. DICV said it would conduct technical training programmes for the students of ITI, Cuttack, as well as BharatBenz dealer sales and service technical staff in the Eastern region, the company said in a statement.
