XCMG enters China’s light truck market

China - Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Company (XCMG) of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, has announced its entry into the local light-duty truck market for the first time with the launch of its new “Hanchi Star” series at a media event held in the city at the end of December.
XCMG unveiled three new light truck variants at the event and confirmed that four additional models would be rolled out this year, including battery and hybrid powered models, to be followed by hydrogen fuel cell models later in the decade.
