Wrightbus receives order for 30 electric double deckers from Abellio London

UK – Wrightbus Ltd of Ballymena, UK has announced it will be delivering 30 battery-electric double deck buses to serve in London, paid for with funds from a rolling stock investor and the Greater London Authority.
30 ‘Electroliner’ buses have been ordered by Abellio, a Dutch transport provider which operates services under contract to Transport for London. No delivery date has been disclosed, but once they arrive the double deckers will operate from Abellio’s depot in Twickenham on Route 111.
