A rendering of what the finished Voderady plant will look like

Slovakia / USA / Serbia – Bratislava, Slovakia-based battery manufacturer, InoBat Auto sets out plans for 2023, beginning with the news that its EV R&D and 45MW pilot line facility is set to open in March 2023, in Voderady, Slovakia. The facility will be producing battery cells which will then be shipped to battery pack producers before going to OEMs to be fitted into vehicles.

The 9,500 square metre (sqm) plant will employ 150 staff and become the focal point of a global network of gigafactories based on its “cradle-to-cradle” circular value chain, which integrates chemistry research, cell development, battery production and material recycling in one location.
