Start-up Arrow Mobility launches first all-electric Brazilian made van

Arrow One e-Van from Arrow Mobility

Brazil - A new Brazilian start-up company, Arrow Mobility Ltda, located in Caxias do Sul, claims it is the first manufacturer to offer an electric van made entirely in Brazil. Presented for the first time at Fenatran 2022 in November, the new van, called Arrow One, is the result of a Brazilian project dedicated to build a fully electric van for the ‘last mile’ delivery segment.

The new e-Van has a volume capacity of 16.5 m³, has payload of 2,000 kg and a gross weight of 5,300 kg and a range of 270 kilometres; it takes less than three hours to fully recharge. Its design and perhaps its market USP or differential, is that it allows the driver direct access to the cargo compartment (Walk-in-Van) and has a unique and what, Arrow claims, is an unprecedented loading system, called One Shot Loader. This loading system allows goods to be loaded in a single movement, which, Arrow claims, saves up to 60% of the loading time compared with traditional systems. The ‘One Shot Loader’ allows for the contents of the van to be pre-packed into a roll-on racking structure that is then loaded straight onto the van at the distribution centre; the entire order is placed directly inside the van, which can then leave immediately for delivery.
