TEVX Higer offers to import up to 3,000 e-buses to help city of São Paulo reach goal of 2,600 electric units by 2024

Brazil – In an effort to support the goal of the city of São Paulo to be operating a fleet of 2,600 electric buses by 2024, Higer do Brasil TEVX Motors Group Ltda (TEVX Higer)* of Pecém, Ceará State (the importer of Higer buses in Brazil) announced in November that it has the capacity to import up to 3,000 units from China throughout 2023 for the city to achieve this goal. TEVX Higher, which has already its electric city bus, the Azure A12BR, fully approved by SPTRANS, says it has increased production capacity at its factory to ensure the best cost and delivery conditions, should the city want to proceed.

Marcelo Barella, director of Higer Bus for South America, says that this move is a commitment to help the city of São Paulo. Barella in November said:
