Volkswagen trucks and buses to be built in Argentina

Argentina / Brazil - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VWCO) of Resende, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has announced the creation of a new partnership with long term distributor, Volkswagen Argentina S.A., located in Córdoba, to manufacture its range of trucks and buses in Córdoba starting in 2024.
A new assembly line is to be installed in a dedicated area extending to 15,000 square metres at Volkswagen Argentina’s industrial manufacturing complex in Córdoba, where VW Argentina already builds car transmissions and since December 2022, the top-of-the-line Ducati Scrambler 803cc motorcycle under contract.
