Volvo leads once again the heavy vehicle segment with the FH being the best-selling truck in Brazil

Volvo FH 540 best-selling truck in Brazil with 8,317 units sold
Brazil - Volvo Trucks Latin America Ltda of Curitiba, Paraná State finished 2022 as the market leader in the heavy-duty (tractor) segment of the Brazilian truck market. The brand sold 18,747 units giving it a market share of 29%. The Volvo FH 540hp model was again, the best-selling truck for the fourth consecutive year in Brazil, across all categories, with 8,317 units sold, according to a survey by Fenabrave, an entity that represents the dealerships of several brands.
The brand registered 5,346 semi-heavy (>15 tons gvw) trucks last year, 39% more than in the previous year, and conquered an unprecedented 16.3% of market share in this segment. The Volvo VM 270 was the best selling model in the semi-heavy segment with 4,732 units registered. Its best-selling version is the 6x2 with a rigid chassis, a configuration that allows for a huge variety of body types and applications, from urban distribution to medium-distance road trips.
