Zenobē opens customer testing centre for fleet charging

Inside Zenobē's Innovation Centre in Portsmouth, UK

UK – On 27 January, charging firm Zenobē Energy Ltd of London, UK opened an ‘Innovation Centre’ in Portsmouth which is intended for training fleet operators in the use of different charging options for electric vehicles.

Located in the Railway Triangle Industrial Estate, the new centre allows potential customers to try out depot charging options for electric trucks, vans and buses. Zenobē’s power source, which is called ‘Powerskid’, is made from second-life batteries providing up to 100 kW of energy. The centre also provides opportunities for Zenobē to try out different kinds of charger and to assess vehicle-to-grid functionality and other charging services.
