Eight of the double deck buses will have open tops for use in tourist services. More than GBP30m is being invested in the buses by Go-Ahead, in addition to a GBP82.5m sum provided by the government’s ‘Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas’ (ZEBRA) scheme to Oxford County Council.
