Volvo Trucks’ Euro VI truck and bus production in Brazil in full swing

Brazil - New Volvo Trucks’ trucks and buses with Euro VI emissions technology - the new PROCONVE 8 (Euro VI) emissions standard came into effect on January 1, 2023 - are already in full production at the plant of Volvo Trucks Latin America Ltda in Curitiba (PR). By complying with these emissions standards, Volvo Truck not only sees this as another step by the company to the decarbonization of commercial transport, it also meets with the brand's global goal of reducing it CO2 emissions from its trucks by 50% by 2030 and by 100% by 2040.
