Daimler Truck North America integrates Allison transmissions in Freightliner Cascadia gas truck model

DTNA Class 8 Freightliner Cascadia Day Cab

USA – February 2023 saw Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA) of Portland, Oregon launch its Class 8 Freightliner Cascadia Day Cab (116 in. BBC), paired with the Cummins ISX12N gas engine and the new Allison 3414 Regional Haul Series automatic transmission. Allison says with the new Allison 3414 Regional Haul Series automatic transmission has built upon the successful 3000 highway series in terms of handling, manoeuvrability and increasing fuel economy by 8%.
