OTW-TEC orders further 97 hybrid buses from Volvo

Volvo 7900 S-Charge bus for OTW-TEC in Belgium

Sweden / Belgium – Volvo Bus Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has announced an order for 97 of its hybrid buses from Opérateur de Transport de Wallonie (“OTW-TEC”), secured through a public tender as part of a wider framework agreement between the two companies.

Volvo will be supplying 97 units of its ‘7900 S-Charge’ range of hybrid electric buses, which are capable of running in pure electric mode. These will enter service in the Walloon Region.
