Volvo celebrates 25 years of cabin production in Brazil – Output hits record numbers in 2022 of 32,000 cabs

Brazil - Installed within the brand's industrial complex in Curitiba, Paraná State, the cabin factory at Volvo Trucks Latin America Ltda’s facility in Brazil, not only celebrates 25 years of production, it is also celebrating one of the most modern within the Volvo Group throughout the world, with high degrees of automation and use of advanced industry 4.0 processes. In its 25 years, Volvo reports the plant has built 368,000 cabins.

Built for the local manufacture of Volvo FH truck cabins in 1998, the plant, says Volvo, was a turning point in the truck builder’s history in Latin America. With it, the brand expanded its business in the region, with new vehicles and the use advanced technologies.
