EKA Mobility receives type approval for its 2.5 tonne e-LCV

India – Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Private Ltd (EKA Mobility) of Pune, the electric vehicle manufacturing division of Pinnacle Industries, says it has received the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) certification (Vehicle Type Approval) from the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT) for its 2.5-tonne GVM electric light commercial vehicle.

EKA Mobility is the first company to offer an electric pickup truck in the 2.5-tonne GVW category on the India market. It has not revealed the detailed specification and date of commercialisation in the market.
