Tevva enters battery management partnership with Ecobat

UK – Tevva Motors Ltd, a zero-emission truck manufacturer based in Tilbury, UK has announced its entry into a twelve-month partnership to trial the battery maintenance services of Ecobat Technologies Ltd, a producer of lead and a battery supplier based in Matlock.
The two companies have agreed to a pilot phase during which Ecobat will maintain and repair lithium-ion batteries for Tevva’s customers. These battery packs were developed in-house by Tevva and are installed in its medium-duty electric trucks. If the trial is successful, Tevva says it may also rely on Ecobat for additional energy storage and battery recycling services in the future.
