Volvo delivers first electric truck to Morocco

Sweden / MoroccoVolvo Trucks Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has announced the delivery of its first electric truck to Morocco, reportedly making it the first global brand with a heavy electric truck in commercial operation in Africa. 

The vehicle in question is an ‘FE Electric’ model, fitted with a refuse collection body built by Terberg Environmental BV of IJsselstein, Netherlands. It was handed over to waste company Arma Environnement, who will put it to use in the city of Rabat.
