Renault Trucks UK launches new modified van bodies

Renault Trucks Trafic Red EDITION Caged Dropside

UKRenault Trucks UK, a subsidiary of Volvo based in Warwick, UK, has launched three new variants based on the Renault Trafic1, two of which are targeted at commercial and vocational applications.

The ‘Renault Trucks Trafic Red EDITION Caged Dropside’ features a dropside body made and fitted by P D Stevens & Sons Ltd of Market Drayton. The customer can choose between a caged dropside body with an 850-kg payload or a standard body with a 950-kg payload. The body comes with a range of optional features including cab high drop-down mesh sides, full height rear mesh doors, and underfloor tool storage with lockable doors on either side. The vehicle has an L2 wheelbase, a Single H1 cab, a Euro 6 Step E 150ps engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Renault Trucks says the vehicle is ideal for applications where space is tight and high manoeuvrability and compactness is desired (i.e., in urban areas).
