Brazil / Angola – One of the largest semi-trailer producers in the world, Randon S/A Implementos e Participações (a subsidairy of Empresas Randon S.A.) of Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, announced in March it had started deliveries of new trailer product types, namely liquid and dry or powdered bulk tankers to Angola. Through its distributor, Auto Sueco Angola in Luanda, Angola, Randon says it has expanded its portfolio of export products to the country; all its Tank and Dry Bulk semi-trailers are shipped CBU (Completely Built Up).

This announcement is part of the group’s strategy to increase its export sales in the African region. Randon boasts that orders to the African region this year already represent a volume greater than that negotiated in all of last year with African countries. The increase in demand, Randon stated, is coming from the better performances of certain sectors such as oil and mining.
