Stagecoach orders 170 electric Volvo/MCV buses

UK – Stagecoach Group plc, a public transport operator based in Perth, UK, has announced its largest order to date of zero-emission buses – 170 units – supplied by Volvo UK and MCV.1
The MCV-bodied Volvo buses comprise 150 double deck and 20 single deck vehicles. These will be delivered to Stagecoach in the summer of 2024, serving in the town of Stockport in Greater Manchester. These will follow on from another 122 zero-emission buses which Stagecoach is introducing over the course of the next twelve months, largely on the back of orders with Alexander Dennis.
