Volvo UK reopens Croydon dealership following GBP2m refurbishment

Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London South in Croydon, UK

UKVolvo Group UK & Ireland Ltd of Warwick announced it has reopened its commercial vehicle dealership site in southern Greater London, following a GBP2m refurbishment of the interior.

The dealership, which is wholly owned by Volvo UK, is located in Croydon and has been part of the company’s network for over 40 years. The layout of the offices and workshops inside the building was overhauled to make it more open plan. Volvo UK said it committed GBP500,000 to make the site more environmentally friendly by investing in solar panels, smart LED lighting, and air source heat pumps. As a result, Volvo UK claims the building has a net-zero carbon impact. It is also the company’s first UK dealership to be certified as zero waste to landfill.
