Key handover to mark the sale of the first ever Meteor truck in Argentina
Argentina / Brazil - The first ever sale of the Meteor* extra-heavy duty truck, a Meteor 28.460, has been exported from Brazil and sold in Argentina to the Raptor Group, through Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda’s (VWCO) dealer representative, Luxcam S.A. based in Buenos Aires.
The Meteor extra-heavy range has had marked success in Brazil: First introduced in Brazil in September 2020, the Meteor is offered at up to 23,000 kg gross weight and combined weights from 56,000 kg to 74,000 kg. It is built by VWCO in Resende, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and to date approximately 9,500 units have been produced and sold in Brazil.
