Mercedes-Benz’s bank in Brazil reports best year ever

Brazil – Finance company, Banco Mercedes-Benz do Brasil (BMB) of São Paulo, has reported record revenues in the history of the division of BRA 19.454 billion (USD 3.67 bn) compared with BRA 14.415 bn (USD 2.72 bn) in 2021, growth of 35%.

In terms of new business, BRA 7.581 billion (USD 1.43 billion) was contracted in 2022, which represents the company's best result in a single year and growth of 54% compared to 2021. Furthermore, with the spike in deliveries of Euro 5 vehicles in December, BMB achieved BRA 1.052 bn (USD198.5m) in sales. Marcello Larussa, Commercial Director of the Bank remarked: “We had the record for the best month in our history, with 208% more than we did in December 2021.”
