Philippine distributor Terrafirma Motors to assemble Dayun electric trucks

Philippines / China - Philippine vehicle assembler, Terrafirma Motors Corporation (TMC), part of the Columbian Motors Corporation of Manilla, has agreed to assemble electric commercial vehicles made by China’s Chengdu Dayun Automobile Company Ltd of Chengdu, Sichuan province, for the Philippine market.

The  Laguna City-based company said it plans to roll out a range of electrified commercial vehicles, including the battery-powered Dayun Dragon EX5 truck, which has a 3-ton payload capacity. The EX5 is powered by an 81kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery pack – which gives it a range of up to 250 km on a single charge.
