In Brazil Scania now offering low-cost finance for biogas-powered trucks and buses

Brazil – To help push the use of biogas / renewable methane as a clean fuel in trucks and buses in Brazil, Scania Latin America Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo of São Paulo, has introduced a new low-cost finance package for operators – offering credit of just 0.99% for Scania gas-powered vehicles. The finance is through a partnership arrangement with Scania Banco (Scania Bank), the finance is being marketed under the name 'Green CDC' (Direct Consumer Credit) programme.
Fábio D'Angelo, commercial director of Scania Banco, sees the initiative marks the positioning of the company's Financial Services, said:
