Brazil – The city of Londrina in the Paraná State is trialling a biomethane-powered city bus by Scania Latin America Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, on routes across the city operated by Transportes Coletivos Grande Londrina (TCGL) and Companhia Municipal do Trânsito e Urbanização (CMTU). The 30-day trial is part of a national Compagas project (Companhia Paranaense de Gás) involving Scania and Compagas.

The trial in Londrina is the third such joint demonstration by Compagas and Scania in 2023; the first being in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, and then in the capital city of Curitiba. The vehicle in Londrina is the same gas bus as has been used for demonstration purposes in the other two cities.
