VW Caminhões e Ônibus upgrades bus and coach chassis with new component options

Brazil - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VWCO) of Resende, Rio de Janeiro has upgraded its range of bus chassis with the option of fitting pneumatic suspensions and automatic transmissions to its Volksbus bus and coach models between nine- and 18-tons gross vehicle weight.

VWCO states that not only is driver and passenger comfort improved with air suspension, but its offers lower operating costs through reduced vehicle maintenance and repair. Such benefits can also be said of vehicles fitted with automatic transmissions.
