Karsan targets growth in the Romanian market

Romania / Turkey – Turkish bus manufacturer, Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Tic AŞ (“Karsan”) is targeting strong growth in the Romanian market after winning two tenders to deliver a total of 20 e-Jest models: 16 for the city of Aiud and four for Siret. The staggered delivery will be completed by the end of the year as the company keeps taking steps to become a global brand. Anadolu Automobil Romania (AAR) is the official distributor of Karsan vehicles in Romania and with the completion of this order, the number of Karsan vehicles in the country will reach 240, operating in 15 cities; a significant achievement considering Karsan’s presence started in 2019.
