Leoni plans to build a new wiring systems factory in Morocco

Morocco / Germany – Cable and harnessing manufacturer, Leoni AG of Nuremberg, Germany, has announced plans to build a new factory in Agadir, Morocco.

The company has signed a framework agreement with the Moroccan government to enlarge its existing nine plants in the Casablanca-Settat region as well as establish the new manufacturing facility in Agadir, with completion set for 2027, providing 3,000 jobs in administration, engineering and production. The new plant will produce wiring systems for the CV industry worldwide in order to meet the growing demand in that segment of the business.
