The Shacman X6000 road tractor

China - Truck-maker, Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group (Shacman), based in the city of Xi’an, Shaanxi province, in June launched its most powerful truck yet – the X6000 6x4 road tractor.

The company’s new flagship model is fitted with the new Weichai WP15H engine, which produces up to 680hp and a maximum torque of 3,200 Nm, coupled with a 16-speed FAST automatic transmission system, which it claims boasts a best-in-class gear change efficiency. The cabin interior also got a full make-over. Two large fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 1,000 litres gives the truck a range of up to 3,000 km.
