Hino inaugurates R&D and Manufacturing hub in Thailand

Thailand / Japan - Hino Motors Ltd, based in Tokyo, Japan, at the end of July held an opening ceremony for its new Thai-based ASEAN regional research and development (R&D) and manufacturing hub in Khlong Suan, Samutprakan Province, Thailand. The new facility is called the Hino Suvarnabhumi Monozukuri Center, and it is suitably located on the Asia Industrial Estate in Samutprakan Province, some 20 km from the Suvarnabhumi international airport.

It is operated by the truck-maker’s Thai manufacturing subsidiary, Hino Motors Manufacturing (Thailand) Ltd* and was built in collaboration with Hino subsidiaries, Hino Powertrain Manufacturing Ltd in Hino-shi, Japan and Hino Motors Asia Ltd** operations in Thailand.
