Volta Trucks kicks off Driving Experience Programme with DSV in the UK

Sweden / UK – Volta Trucks AB of Stockholm, Sweden has announced that customer trials of its medium-duty battery electric trucks are now underway in Europe, on the continent and in the British Isles, where Danish logistics firm DSV A/S is trialling a truck in its London operations.

A ‘Volta Zero’ truck is operating from DSV’s southern hub in the town of Purfleet-on-Thames, carrying out last-mile deliveries in London and the southeast of England. The truck is working between the hours of 6am and 7pm, before returning to base for overnight charging.
