UK – Hydrogen fuel-cell technology company, Bramble Energy Ltd* has taken up residence at its new multi-million-pound headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex. The new facility includes a hydrogen innovation and development hub housing a testing facility exclusively dedicated to hydrogen fuel cells, electrolysers, and sensors. This move is a testament to the company’s extraordinary growth since launching in 2016 as a university spin-off. The new headquarters has been partly funded by the UK government, venture capital firms and a GBP 12 million grant from the Advanced Propulsion Centre.
Bramble Energy’s hydrogen fuel cell technology revolves around its “PCB-X Platform”, a design, the company claims can overcome critical challenges in hydrogen fuel cell production. This solution allows Bramble to design, manufacture, test, and dispatch a PCB fuel cell within weeks, all at a substantially lower cost compared to industry standards.
