UK / Canada – After a successful trial of its hydrogen-fuel-cell powered vehicle (FCEV) in the UK, electric light commercial vehicle startup, First Hydrogen Corporation of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has announced it is extending its trials with several unnamed parcel delivery operators beginning in Q4 2023.

This also trial comes ahead of news that the company plans to announce when and where it will start series manufacturing these vehicles in the future. The new additonal trials are to focus on the final stages of the delivery journey as parcel operators look to reduce the CO2 emissions of their fleets. The tests will enable First Hydrogen to gather more data on fuel consumption, usage and efficiency, to therefore calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) more accurately.
