China’s Norinco to establish electric truck JV in Indonesia

Indonesia / China - PT Nusatama Berkah TBK, an Indonesian heavy equipment producer headquartered in Jakarta, and Chinese state-owned industrial group, North Industries Group Corporation (Norinco) last month agreed to establish a joint venture to produce battery-powered trucks in the South-east Asian country.

PT Nusatama Berkah is an engineering company listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange under the NTBK ticker. It specialises in fabricating bodies for heavy-duty special vehicles operating in the mining, oil and gas, construction and forestry sectors based on chassis supplied by several truck manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz.
